The Art Store is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am to 2pm to serve our arts community and encourage art as a family activity. Covid-19 or winter weather may cause us to change our hours. If you need art supplies during the Covid-19 emergency, please call us at (540) 968-3639 or the art school office at (540) 862-7275 to check before driving over.

The Art Store easy to find. It is located at 518 Church Street, just inside the Clifton Forge School of the Arts. We carry materials suitable for children, beginners and the accomplished artist. If you need guidance in choosing materials, just ask. We are practicing and teaching artists with broad experience and are well qualified to advise you. The advice is free.
We carry oil paints, acrylics, stretched canvases, canvas panels, raw canvas by the yard, stretcher bars, watercolor paper and drawing paper by-the-sheet, brushes, drawing pencils, drawing pens, sketchbooks, drawing pads, pastels, crayons, markers, clay, easels, aprons, books, storage & products for the care of your materials. And so much more!

We invite our neighbors in Bath, Craig, Botetourt, Rockbridge, Greenbrier WV, Pocahontas WV and points beyond to consider us their art materials shop. Call us. Come see us. -Judith opened The Art Store on April 1, 2011 to provide the necessary supplies for students of the school. It has since grown to a fully-stocked art store to supply the needs of artists in the Alleghany Highlands and surrounding areas.
